The Shields

Ski Shield is made of durable Lexan plastic that will stand up to the rigors of both skiing and Snowboarding.  These shields are fastened to the helmet by Stainless screws; this makes it easy for you to change the shield to fit the conditions you are skiing.   Currently we have three different color shields, Dark Gray (for bright sunny days), Rainbow (for cloudy snowy days) and Yellow (for low visibility days).  The shields are movable; you can adjust how much ventilation you want simply by lifting the shield, the patented air flow system also allows for quick removal of fog in the event there is any.  If you don't want any ventilation you simply pull the shield down. This cuts off the airflow, and really works well on those cold mornings when you are on the lift. One of our favorite features of this system is that you don't see that ledge at the bottom like you do with goggles, you don't have that closed-in feeling of tunnel vision.   This allows for 180 - degree visibility with no  interruption in your line of vision.  You can easily glance down at your skis as you get off the lift.
